Countertop Inline Kangen Pre-Filter

There are several reasons why you may need to have a pre-filter system in concert with your Kangen Water system. If you have iron in your tap water for instance, it can ruin your machine and it must be pre-filtered before entering your machine. Fluoride is a toxin that many customer don't want in their water. This is another reason for getting a prefilter. Water with sediments in it can cause our carbon block filters (especially the Premium and the Ultra filters) to clog pre-maturely. If you live in New York City for instance where the water is not filtered and only treated with chemicals and has a high sediment content and you have a kangen water machine you should be using a pre-filter. There are many other reasons for using a prefilter but it all comes down to drinking the cleanest kangen water possible.
